Research Interests
I am interested in cognitive processes that include the acquisition, storage and usage of learned contents. Since I enjoy working at the interface of experimental findings and theoretical considerations, I am interested in biologically inspired neural network models to investigate Learning & Memory.
Current Project
My research project aims at promoting a deeper understanding of the underlying mechanisms to human grammar learning and reproduction. To this end we make use of artificial grammar learning techniques that are applied to models of artificial neural networks. The project is part of the RTG Computational Cognition and co-supervised by Prof. Dr. Jutta Müller (Psycho- and Neurolinguistics) and Prof. Dr. Gordon Pipa (Neuroinformatics).
