Syllabus:

Gegenstand der Vorlesung ist die Vermittlung der neuroanatomischen, neurobiologischen, neuropharmakologischen und neurophysiologischen Grundlagen der Biologischen Psychologie. Themen sind u.a. Struktur und Funktion von Nervenzellen, elektrische Erregungsleitung, chemische überträgerstoffe und Neuropharmakologie; Neuroanatomie des zentralen und des peripheren Nervensystems; das endokrine System und Psychneuroendokrinologie; Messmethoden der Biopsychologie.

The aim of this lecture is to teach basic knowledge concerning the anatomy of the central and peripheral nervous system, neurophysiology, neuropharmacology, the endocrine system and psychoneuroendocrinology, the immune system and psychoneuroimmunology, and methods of biopsychology.
